A Louisiana man has been charged by police after a 14-year-old girl was shot in the head while playing hide and seek.

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office said several children were playing hide-and-seek and took shelter on the man’s property in Stax.

David Doyle, 58, told detectives he got the gun when he saw shadows outside his home and shot people he saw fleeing without their knowledge, according to officials. Hit the girl.
