Elementum Appoints Douglas Duncan as Chief Technology Officer

Elementum Advisors, an alternative investment manager specializing in mortgage natural catastrophe event reinsurance investments, announced that Douglas Duncan has joined the senior team at the firm’s Chicago headquarters as Chief Technology Officer.

He joined the company from Columbia Insurance Group (CIG) where he served as the organization’s Chief Information Officer responsible for all technology activities.

For over a decade, Duncan has held leadership positions in global technology, earning a Six Sigma Black Belt and a PMI Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) designation. He has also held senior positions in Swiss Re, GE Insurance Solutions and the Federal Highway Administration’s Enterprise Solutions division.
