Walt Disney World crew ‘lifted up 500+ women’s skirts’ at Florida resort US News

A former Walt Disney World employee in Florida has allegedly told police he secretly photographed the skirts and dresses of more than 500 female guests at the theme park over the past six years.

Jorge Diaz Vega, 26, worked at the Star Wars gift shop at Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park near Orlando until his recent arrest on voyeuristic video charges.

It’s a third-degree felony, punishable by up to five years in prison in Florida.

Witnesses allegedly saw Vega filming the video up the skirt of an 18-year-old woman, according to court records filed by Orange County Sheriff’s detectives.

The woman told security staff she had no knowledge of Vega’s behaviour.

Detectives allege Vega confessed during the interrogation that he viewed the videos as a form of “guilt” and showed them multiple examples on his phone.

He was arrested March 31 and released on $2,500 bond.

Disney World said Sunday that Vega is not currently working for the company.

The sheriff’s office would not comment on whether they are filing additional charges against Vega.

Neither the sheriff’s office nor Disney has said whether they are looking for the identities of other women Vega allegedly filmed.
