Old Main Shelf Owner Retires, Looking To Sell Business

After 45 years in business, the owners of Old Main Frame Shop and Gallery are retiring at the end of 2022 and are looking for buyers interested in continuing their store’s longstanding tradition in the State University area.

Janet McKenna and Marie Librizzi said in a joint statement that they were looking forward to retiring on December 12. 31 and “All the great adventures we can have in the years to come.”

“As customers and friends, you have been an integral part of our success throughout our 45 years in business, and we sincerely thank you,” they wrote. “Our clients, colleagues and friends have given us many fond memories that we will carry with us forever.”

The custom frame shop and art gallery will continue to take orders until November. 30 at its 2766 W. College Ave. location or online oldmainframe.com.

The Old Main Frame Shop was originally located at 136 E. College Ave.before downtown state university Moved to current location in early 2020.

McKenna and Librizzi said their retirements present an opportunity for the right buyer.
