McHenry County Business Championship finalists include Mercyhealth, MCC – Shaw Local

From 30 nominations, the McHenry County Economic Development Corporation selected 17 finalists for the Business Champion Award, which recognizes outstanding businesses in McHenry County that positively impact the McHenry County economy.

Finalists include:

In companies with 24 employees or less, Vo-Tech Inc. or Crystal Lake, Alpha Swiss Corporation or Crystal Lake, Glashaus Inc. Crystal Lake and McHenry of McHenry Heating & Air;

National Gift Cards for Alliance Contractors Inc. Woodstock, Dordan Manufacturing Company Inc. Woodstock, Duraflex of Cary, Crystal Lake and Plum Grove Inc. among companies with 25 to 100 employees. or Cary;

Among companies with 100 to 299 employees, General Kinematics of Crystal Lake, Durex of Cary, Superior Felt & Filtration LLC of McHenry, and Technipaq of Crystal Lake; and

Among companies with more than 300 employees: Mercyhealth in Rockford, Werner/Knaack LLC in Crystal Lake, Kelco Guardian in Woodstock and McHenry County College in Crystal Lake.

The 2022 Business Champion Awards ceremony will be a highlight of the McHenry County Economic Development Corporation’s annual dinner, which will be held on November 1. 1 at the Crystal Lake Holiday Inn.

Last year’s recipients were Woodstock’s Enviro Sip Straw, Woodstock’s MAC Automation, McHenry’s Jessup Manufacturing and McHenry’s Northwestern Medicine McHenry Hospital.
