Erie police responded to a shooting Saturday night in the 2100 block of Buffalo Road.
The police report said a 35-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the groin. Witnesses at the scene told police there was an argument outside a pub before the shooting.
At present, the police have no suspects. Deputy Commissioner Rick Lorah issued the following statement:
“There were no deaths, five people were shot over the weekend, obviously it’s related to us. So we’re going to see if those are linked, we’re going to look at the areas where this is happening, see if we need to increase patrols in those areas and then We will do it.”
