Jennifer Aniston reveals she tried IVF and has ‘zero regrets’ | Ents & Art News

Jennifer Aniston has revealed she was trying to conceive through in vitro fertilization and says she has “zero regrets”.

The Friends actress said in an interview with Allure magazine that “the road to having a baby” was “challenging.”

The 53-year-old discussed how media scrutiny has affected her over the years and described her 30s and 40s as “really hard”, adding that she was trying to conceive during that time.

She tells Allure: “Years and years of speculation…it’s really hard. I’m going through IVF, drinking Chinese tea, you name it. I threw it all away.

“If someone says to me, ‘Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favor and I’ll pay for anything.’ You just don’t think so. So here I am today. The ship has sailed.

She said she had “zero regret” and added: “I’m really feeling a little bit relieved now because there’s no more ‘Can I? Maybe. Maybe. Maybe.'” I don’t have to think about that anymore. “

The actress, known as Rachel Green on the hit NBC sitcom, married Brad Pitt in 2000 and divorced five years later.

She was with Justin Theroux from 2011 to 2018, and they married in 2015.

During IVF treatment, the egg is combined with sperm outside the body, and the embryo is implanted in the mother’s uterus.

Aniston also told the suggestion that tempted her marriage to end because she didn’t want to have children an “absolute lie,” adding: “I have nothing to hide right now.”

There’s a saying “I’m just selfish,” she said, and she only cares about her career.

“God forbid a woman succeeds without children,” she added.
