Queen Elizabeth II’s state funeral in London on Monday will mark the world’s farewell to Britain’s longest-reigning monarch.

The Queen died at her Scottish country estate, Balmoral, on September 8 at the age of 96.

After being officially confirmed as the new king on September 10, King Charles III ordered a holiday across the UK on September 19.

Mourners lined the streets of London to see the Queen’s coffin being solemnly paraded in a gun carriage from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall – where it will remain until the morning of her funeral.
