A suspect in the mysterious killings of four college students in Idaho has been arrested.

The individual was reportedly detained about 2,500 miles away in Monroe County in northeastern Pennsylvania.

Kaylee Goncalves, Maddie Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin were stabbed to death in the early hours of November 13 in Moscow, Idaho, leaving their small community desperate for answers.

The developments follow an investigation that has yet to arrest anyone.

An individual is being extradited in connection with a criminal homicide investigation based on an active warrant for first-degree murder issued by the Moscow Police Department and the Rata County Prosecutor’s Office, according to arrest documents filed by Pennsylvania State Police.
