Homicide detectives are responding to a shooting in Monterey Park, California, late Saturday night, according to a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office spokesman.
The Los Angeles Times, citing law enforcement sources, said the shooting resulted in multiple casualties.
A law enforcement news conference was expected Sunday morning, CNN affiliate KCAL/KCBS reported.
Monterey Park is a city in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, about seven miles from downtown Los Angeles.
